1. Introduction

CoffeeSlap ("we", "our", "us") operates the CoffeeSlap mobile application. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Phone number, email address, and name — used for authentication and order communication.
• Location data: Your device's GPS location — used to show nearby cafés, calculate distances, and detect arrival at pickup zones. Location is only accessed while the app is in use.
• Order data: Coffee orders, order history, and preferences — used to process and fulfil your orders.
• Device information: Device type, OS version, and push notification tokens — used to deliver order updates and app notifications.
• Payment information: Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe for in-app credit purchases). We do not store your card details.
• Apple/Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email as provided by those services.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To process and deliver coffee orders
• To show you nearby cafés and calculate distances
• To send order status notifications
• To improve the app experience

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only with:

• Café partners: Your order details and name are shared with the café fulfilling your order.
• Payment processors: Stripe processes in-app credit purchases on our behalf. Card payments at pickup are handled by each café's own point-of-sale terminal.
• Firebase (Google): For authentication and push notifications.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Render.com in the EU (Frankfurt). We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and follow industry-standard security practices.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Order history is retained for up to 12 months. You can request deletion at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

CoffeeSlap is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
